| Included in the ISGC complex is the Inigo Jones indoor theatre. Inigo Jones was a contemporary of Shakespeare's, and is credited with advancing set design and theatre design in Britain. | ![]() |

The designs used for the Inigo Jones theatre were discovered long after his death. This theatre was never built in his lifetime, but it is speculated that this design is close to that of the Blackfriars theatre where Shakespeare's company presented plays during off seasons from the Globe. |
