As part of our mission to serve as a liaison between the London site and the USA, we have established an archive of information and images of the Globe's construction in a small office in the University of Maryland, College Park's Department of Theatre. Not only is this archive available to UMD's students, but also to anyone willing to make the trip to College Park, MD.
A brief index follows detailing what our archive contains. This index was assembled in an effort to increase our mini-archive's accessibility. This index will be updated as deposits are made to the archive and as we break down larger classifications. Our goal is to make it easier for anyone interested to see what we have available and make any questions for further information as specific as possible.
*We also have a very large number of slides taken throughout the reconstruction process, and also documenting some of the research that went into the Globe's design.
